Thinking about my strategy.
Design first. Lots of free templates out there and I’m quite capable of developing my own but I think I’ll go with buying the Thesis theme from diythemes.com. Supposed to be very good, even if everything seems to be focused on fixed width, rather than the fluid form I prefer. Plus, if I get the developer version I can play with it on my other site.
OK, that’s what I’ll do. Back in a few minutes minute with a fresh face!
The theme (just added) is pretty much the default setting for now, but looks cleans. I’ll work on it properly another day, still have 999,990 followers to find!
Need to think about adding this to all the various Twitter sites, as a syndication thing, but for now, off to stalk, err follow a few people and hope there return the compliment. Going with all the Ackerley’s I can find. Fairly rare name so, albeit nth cousins and such a hundred times removed, still kinsfolk.
Marketing wise, started off by adding myself to the WeFollow Twitter directory under #socialmedia, #marketing and #web
Later in day, added myself to the Twitr Directory under #socialmedia, #blogger and #tech
